The Senior Business Intelligence Developer should:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements for data solutions supporting energy operations and executive reporting
- Develop data models, reports, and dashboards for stakeholders to gain insights
- Create ETL pipelines to ensure accurate data flow and availability for analysis
- Integrate various data sources
- Manage and optimize data structures to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and reliability
- Document technical details of BI solutions
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to enhance BI system efficiency and effectiveness
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies for new BI solution opportunities
We are looking for highly motivated candidates and dynamic and detail-oriented professionals in Systems Engineering or related disciplines with BI development focus.
The ideal candidate must have the following experience and skills:
- Have Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Have at least 7 years of experience in Business Intelligence development and implementation
- Have previous experience in the energy sector
- Have a strong background in data modeling and database design
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Reports Services (SSRS)
- Be experienced in ETL tools and data integration processes
- Have a strong understanding of data visualization and dashboard design principles
- Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders and C-Level positions.
- Be bilingual, fluent in both English and Spanish.
